Visitation policy
Residents have the right to receive visitors. We welcome family and friends and follow Florida’s No Patient Left Alone Act (SB988) in spirit and practice.
Visiting hours
Visitation is generally available 8am–8pm daily (may extend for changing needs). Hours may be extended when a resident’s needs change (for example, end of life or significant health events). Please call ahead if you need to visit outside usual hours so we can prepare.
- Masks are optional. We may update guidance based on community health conditions.
- Visitors complete a brief screening at sign-in to help protect residents and staff.
- Please respect other residents’ privacy and shared living spaces.
SB988 — No Patient Left Alone Act
Florida’s No Patient Left Alone Act (SB988) affirms that residents in health care settings, including assisted living, have the right to in-person visitation from family and support persons, subject to reasonable clinical and safety considerations.
Love Assisted Living Facility supports residents’ rights to receive visitors. We do not use visitation as punishment, and we work with families to accommodate essential support persons — including during times of illness or distress — while maintaining a safe home for everyone who lives and works here.
If infection-control or emergency measures temporarily affect how visits occur, we will communicate clearly and offer the most access allowed under applicable guidance. Essential caregivers and clergy are prioritized consistent with the law’s intent.
