Dementia-Friendly Assisted Living in Cape Coral, FL
Many families caring for a parent with early or mild dementia aren't ready for — or don't need — a locked memory care unit. Love ALF accepts residents with manageable dementia in a calm, small-home setting. We don't have a memory care unit, so this page explains honestly who we're a good fit for.
Why a small home can help

- Consistent caregivers who learn each resident's routine and cues
- Structured days: meals at set times, exercise, games, gardening, bingo
- Care strategies guided by occupational therapy experience to support independence and safety
- Medication management and help with daily living, 24 hours a day
Who we can serve
Residents with dementia whose needs are manageable in an assisted living home — for example, people who need reminders, supervision and help with daily tasks, and who are safe in a residential setting without a secured unit.
When memory care may be needed
Because we don't operate a secured memory care unit, we may not be the right fit for someone whose dementia requires a locked environment or specialized behavioral care. We'll talk openly with you and, if needed, say so.
