Assisted Living Stigma

A stigma exist with assisted living. People are lead to believe if you put a love one in an assisted living facility that you don't care for them. I was unconsciously guilty of this thought process myself. Truth is a good assisted living is one of the best places for a love one in need of help throughout the day. This is because families are often busy dealing with the stress of life that they don't have time to give the complete attention your love one may need. With 24/7 care by trained staff in a safe social environment an assisted living facility can be fun and exciting!
